I have the latest build of X and we loaded the Renew 1 stack last night but didnt get the pages other than the home page. I have seen a download link (https://theme.co/x/member/demo-content/) and it doesnt work. I reviewed this post for details and still a little confused: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/demo-content-renew-1-blog-page/

1) can I get the updated ZIP with the HTML to edit and paste into a page?
2) maybe instructions on how to use renew 1, but I think that mostly those are found in the shortcodes section of the demo? But then there is also cornerstone and elements. So I am confused on how to get started and which form of coding is the right form. If I get the HTML code, I can work my way through it though, its been 10 years, but I am sure I can figure it out.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! In X there are two types of demos: http://theme.co/x/demos/

The Standard demos and Expanded demos. Standard demo like the Renew 1 is, will only import the home page and place-holder images. It wont import the actual images on the demo, the secondary pages, and the sliders.

While the Expanded demos will import everything.

The page will import in Cornerstone format. Just edit the page in Cornerstone and replace the demo text and placeholder images with your actual content.

Then how do I get the coding or learn how to make our blog page look like the demo?

Specifically the post display with the different media types. We are trying to do that now with the basic code and cannot find a way to do that with shortcodes and or cornerstone.

Hi Nick,

Blog index page is using a special template, this will automatically display all your post (like what you’re seeing here: http://demo.theme.co/renew-1/blog/) this needs a customisation if you need to edit this template.

That page can not be edited on Cornerstone or any page builder. Try creating a dummy posts and your
Blog index page should populate with posts automatically.

I have 2 to 3 posts and do not see any blog index page, that is what i am trying to build. so how do I get the “blog index page” to show the posts?

I am confused as I am asking how to get the blog index page, but it doesn’t exist in a download but will automatically display?

If you need creds to see, let me know how to do that as well.

Hi There,

You need to create a page, name it blog for example.

Than go to Wp Admin Dashboard > Settings > Reading and select this page to be your latest posts page.

Hope it helps

If that does not work for you please provide your admin credentials in a private reply so we can take a closer look on your setup.
