co50ParticipantIs there a way to all-at-once (dynamically) change the category headings so that instead of it saying:
Category Archive
Below you’ll find a list of all items that have been categorized as “[category]”Can it just say the category name in place of Category Archive and nothing else? I’m not sure why it puts “Category Archive” on these category pages – weird lingo for ecommerce. If you asked 100 WooCommerce devs, I’d guess 90 of them would prefer it say the category name, and that’s it.
I know you can manually edit this for each category but with 200+ categories already in place via an import, it would take a very long time to rename them all, and then when new categories are imported we’ll have to remember to edit it. Just not an ideal solution. Thanks for your help.

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! What’s the current stack that you’re in?
Because this requires a template change, I’d advise that you setup a child theme. This allows you to make code changes that won’t be overwritten when an X update is released. After your child theme is setup, please review how we recommend making template changes in Customization Best Practices.
Then for example if you’re using the integrity stack, copy the file _landmark-header.php which is located under “x/framework/views/integrity/” into your child theme’s respective location “x-child/framework/views/integrity/”.
Then you can find the keyword “Category Archive” and then change accordingly. Make sure to activate your child theme, so that you can see the changes.
Hope that helps.

oldOtterParticipantI am trying to do this same thing. Except, you suggest to change “Category Archive” accordingly (assumed, one name). I want “Category Archive” to be replaced with the name of one of ten category titles (the category name). How would I go about doing this?
