georgehm3ParticipantI can’t edit my site after updating to the latest version of WP and X-Theme. The team at WP Bakery, makers of Cornerstone are telling me this about why Visual Composer is hanging up for me….
“The issue is because there is a Visual Composer related code present in your theme added by the theme author. You will have to get rid of it. I would advise you to do so with the help of theme author, otherwise you might loose the extra elements added by him. Once this is done, you can install the standalone plugin and it will work fine. Kindly check. ”
Anyone else with this issue?

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Have you created the pages using X Theme and Visual Composer?
Have you updated Visual Composer to the latest version according to our changelog?
Let us know more details about it.
Thanks,
Joao

georgehm3ParticipantI don’t see anything in there regarding VC, I updated the theme and WP just like I’ve always done thru the admin interface.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating although it’s not yet clear that what you are actually referring. There is nothing hard-coded in the theme. However you can disable the “X Integration” from the Visual Composer settings to use this natively – http://prntscr.com/bamzk9
Maybe you are referring this.
Hope this makes sense.

georgehm3ParticipantThat worked. I disabled it, then re-enabled it and I’m good to go! Thank you.
