cgenselParticipantHi,
I have a question that I think is related to the demo template I started with (I have another related question open right now about a Google Map API that is showing up as an error when I have never used Google Maps on the site). I seem to have some hidden links that appear to be related to the demo template I worked from or the theme. When I used W3C linkchecker it finds them (see attached screenshot), and also other times I’ve seen at least one of these (the placeholder .png) show up as an error in the source code. They are not links that I’ve added to the page so I don’t know where to find them.
Can you please advise how to remove these if that’s the appropriate course of action or point me to a resource with this information? I haven’t worked with a template like this before as a base and this is beyond my experience.
Thanks,
Katie

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! Ubermenu is loading Google MAP API too. Please disable it because it will be loaded by Cornerstone only if you add a Google Map element. Go to Ubermenu Control Panel > General Settings Tab > Assets > Load Google Maps API: Uncheck this.
You can install a 3rd party plugin, Search and Replace. You can do a search and replace of the keyword that created the issue using the Link Checker as your guide.
Do let us know how this goes.

JadeModeratorHi Katie,
The search and replace plugin will update of the links that matches with your search text. If you are unsure about the changes you will make, it is recommended that you keep a full backup of the site before updating the links so in case something goes wrong, you can always restore it.

JadeModeratorHi Katie,
We could trying dry running the plugin and see if we can find a match. Kindly provide the url you are searching for in the database and the admin details to your site.
Thank you.
