    Hi there, I have a site running using x that I have paid licence for from them envato. The purchase code and site are correctly hooked up in my Themeco account, however the site keeps asking me to register. Everytime I try it says the licence is already registered (which it is) and that I should email you to sort it.

    How do we get this fixed please? It’s for the site http://yourphdsupervisor.com/

    Hey There,

    Can you please try revalidating your licence? You can do it by removing the site from your themeco dashbaoard and licence code from WordPress dashboard. Once done, just readd them and it should work.

    hi, thanks for getting back to me so quickly!
    ‘ve rmeoved the site from the license, but when you say “remove the license code from wordpress dashboard’ can you clarify? I don’t see any options for this anywhere in wordpress itself? I’ve removed the API key, but the links to get a new API key just point back to a page about validation, where it gets stuck in the loop I’m in again.

    Hey, You can revoke your validation by going to Dashboard > X Addons and on the right sidebar, you’ll see the option to do so.

    Thanks Rahul, but I don’t have that info on that page, I only get the info as shown on the screen shot attached (prompting me to register – which I can’t)

    Thanks, I’ve already done that too. This is why I’m getting so confused. That license purchase code is not linked to any sites, yet I can’t register it to the site anymore as it puts me in a loop asking me to do something it won’t let me do.

    If you can access my account you can see I have three licenses, 2 assigned to websites and one unassigned (the one I’m trying to hook up via the wp x panel).

    Is there anyway to manually do it?

    Or should I just manually update the site via ftp with the latest theme download instead?

    Just to confirm before forwarding to our the licensing manger, please clarify some things please.

    You went before all to : https://community.theme.co/my-licenses/

    And assigned your website to the license you are trying to register on WP-Admin Dashboard? Did you face any issues at this stage of the proocess?

    Once your license is assigned on https://community.theme.co/my-licenses/ you went to Wp-Admin Dashboard and you weren´t able to register your website with the purchase code?

    Hi joao. Yep I had that license assign to a temp domain of the site, and then removed the license and applied it to the url mentioned above when it went from dev to live.

    I had no problems doing this in my x account as you linked to above.

    As you say, the problem is then when I go to register in the wp_adm dashboard it asks for that license and says it’s already registered (and I’ve tried removing the url again from that license so the license code is free and then registering through wp – but I get the same issue).

    Hello There,

    Thank you for the clarifications! You no longer have to register it since you already added it in your Theme.co account. All you have to do is to go to X Addons > Product Validation. You need to copy the license code from your Themeco account and insert it in the API key field. Once it is validated, you need to update X because the X Addons dashboard were changed in the update release of X. Please check out our changelog here: https://theme.co/changelog/#theme-4-4-2

    Brilliant, DONE! Thank you so much, I didn’t realise the purchase code was supposed to go in the API filed, I thought that was a separate API key generated from the control panel.
