pablo102ParticipantHi guys,
I have my homepage designed with Visual Composer. I would like to redesign it with Cornerstone.
What would be the best approach, keeping the old homepage live all the time and replace when ready with the new version?Thank you for help!

ChristianModeratorHey there,
Yes, that would be the best approach as you will need to build the Cornerstone page from the start.
Thanks.

pablo102ParticipantAnd how to safely ‘replace’ the old page?

RupokMemberHi there,
You can just create the new page as “draft” and publish it when it’s done. Also it won’t be your homepage unless you assign this as “front page” from Settings > Reading. So let’s create and complete the new page in Cornerstone and then assign as homepage.
Hope this makes sense.

pablo102Participantso if I create as e.g. https://idophotographydungarvan.ie/newpage and then assign it as front page the url will change to https://idophotographydungarvan.ie? This will not affect all my seo efforts, I believe?

RupokMemberHi there,
Yes you are right and it won’t affect the SEO I believe.
Cheers!
