    Hi,

    I want to redesign my website locally.
    Wordpress is now working offline but x theme is not validated because i am using it online.
    The message says i can revoke and re-assign within my Themeco account.
    But how do i do that for a localhost:8888?
    Can you get me a step by step, i want to work on it this weekend.

    No it doesnt help.
    It doenst work with localhost:8888

    Hi there,

    You’ll need to map your localhost with any test domain name. To do this open up hosts file via C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and enter this line at the end:

    127.0.0.1 dev.site.com

    Save the file, now you’ll be able to validate the site for dev.site.com You’ll also need to change the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) via WP Dashboard > Settings > General to dev.site.com
