    Hello,

How would you go about recreating the Ethos Homepage (Post) Layout on Visual Composer

Looking at your shortcodes for Ethos, it doesnt show the methods to have the text display on the right hand side

    Please advise

    Hi there,

Please switch to Ethos stack and enable ‘Filterable index’ under Customize -> Ethos -> Blog option. Under Customize -> Blog, select standard layout.

    Now check your blog page.

    Hope it helps.

    That wasnt my question

    Let me be more specific.

    Your shortcode page

    Recent Posts

contains different types of “Recent Post” layouts
but it doesnt contain the default layout you have displayed on your Home Page for Ethos 1

    My question is

    – If i create a new page, how i do i use the “Recent Post Shortcodes” do recreate the Home page Blog post layout

    similar to the attachment

    Hi There,

That page is not created with the Recent Posts Shortcode.

To Create a page like that you need to assign your blog posts page to a specific page in Appereance > Reading.

    And setup as Christopher recommended.

Let us know if you have any more questions.

    Thanks

    Joao

    Hello,

Im not asking to create a page like the one on your demo post for ethos
    the question, and also why?

Do you not have a method to create a recent post layout like the one on your demo?

You must have shortcodes to set up your post similar to the layout you have on your demo

Why do we have to be forced to use different forms of post layout other than your demo, when creating a new page
    that just seems odd

    Hi there,

Recent posts element is an element, Ethos 1 is a blog page. They are different, and you can’t use Recent posts element as a blog page. Never is the demo that recent posts element is used as a blog page, and you may provide the URL in case I’m missing that demo URL.

    Thanks!
