365SussexParticipantHi I am looking at adding a Calendar to one of my sites but am having an issue where events are showing up under recent post module elsewhere on the site…
Strange thing is within cornerstone on events don’t show up but when viewing site they do.
I am planning on using Quickevent manager as my plugin for calendar and event booking and it appears to log events in the wp_posts table with post type of event so I am wondering if I can get recent post module to ignore post type events completely and if so how?
Many Thanks
AlanUnfortunately the site is not on a public host at present so cannot give access and I am aware as it is a third party plugin so outside of this support framework although I am hoping to stretch you help as wordpress itself differentiates them correctly just the X theme recent post module not so

Paul RModeratorHi Alan,
Thanks for writing in!
Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)
You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.
If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
You mention that the the Quick event will just use post and add event as the post format. Is it correct? By default, recent post element will display posts no matter what is the post format. If you want to exclude the event post format, I would suggest that you add categories for each of your posts and you can make the category filter in the recent post element.
Hope this helps.
