    Hello

Because of a few technical issues with plugins, I need to create a small “subsite” so that 1 plugin may work properly. Of course I’ll use X theme to create this subsite. My question is since it’s under the same domain name (i.e. mysite.com/subsite) do I need to purchase a new licenseor can I install the current one for the main domain?

    Thanks!

    Hi There,

    Thanks for writing in.

You can use the development enviroment license for your subdomain. In your license page, https://community.theme.co/users/yanikphoto/licenses, you can add for dev site.

You can also revoke your live site license then re-assign it again after you used it for dev purposes.

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks.

    Hi there

It’s not for dev purposes. It’ll be a permanent subsite.

    Hi there,

As it’s under same domain so you can use the license you are using for main site. Let’s try validating with the existing Purchase Key as long as it’s related to the main site. But if it’s a different end product then you should purchase a separate license for that. 🙂

    Thanks!

    Hey There,

    Thanks for writing back!

Licenses work on multisites or even multiple isntalls as long as they are on the same domain.

For example http://www.yourdomain.com/region1 to http://www.yourdomain.com/region5 will work, however region1.yourdomain.com will not work and will require separate licenses for each if you are doing separate installs.

    Hope this makes sense!
