    Hi!

    I am just about to go life with Theme-X on my website, by using the automatic conversion from a Staging site to the live site. I have made considerable changes to the original Theme-X template, and am worried about protecting those changes from any Theme-X updates.

    Is there a way to save my new site with all its changes as a Child Theme?

    Hi there,

    If you’ve already made those changes to child theme, they are protected from being overwritten in next update.
    If the changes has been made inside x folder, please setup a child theme and move modified files to child theme.

    Hi,

    I have no child theme as yet and have made a lot of changes to X. Is there a way to save the entire new version of X with my changes as a child theme?

    Hi,

    You need to copy your changes over to your child theme.
