scottkaizenParticipantWhen trying to validate the website i was directed to a page to login to add my username and the purchase code.
I did this then it asks me to fill in username, name email agree and click
but it doesn’t allow me to use the same username or email.
eventually i use different for this.
But now it has set me up a new account (i dont want this i want everything in one place)
I have verified the purchase code to my website.
But still no API Key.
It never was this difficult and time consuming.
I am obviously doing something wrong.
Details to follow.
thanks for helpJuly 4, 2016 at 8:31 am #1071511

JoaoModeratorHi There,
You don´t need to generate an API Key you can register your website using the purchase code now – we changed the system.
Your license should be automatically add to your account if you have purchased on Themeforest using the same e-mail.
Please provide us detailed information:
1- Themeco Account which the new purchase code is registered.
2- Themeco account which you would like your purchase code to be.
Once we have this information we can forward your request to our account manage so he can merge or transfer your licenses.
Let us know if you have any questions
Thanks
Joao

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
We have changed the way x validates products from X v4.4.0, please check this link : https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/
Since you are using older version, please follow this link and update your theme manually https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/. After updating please validate your product using purchase code, next you’ll be able to update plugins from WP dashboard.
Hope that helps.

scottkaizenParticipantThink i have got an API code from google for java.. i think1
sorry but how do i do a child theme?
And where do i find it?
to put the code in as you have suggested in other thread.
Of if you already have your Google Map API key, please add the following code in your child theme’s functions.php file
function my_add_frontend_scripts() {
wp_register_script( ‘vendor-google-maps’, ‘https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key=YOUR_API_KEY’);
wp_enqueue_script( ‘vendor-google-maps’ );
}
add_action(‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘my_add_frontend_scripts’, 100);July 6, 2016 at 12:34 pm #1075110
JoaoModeratorHi Scott
Please update your X Theme to version 4.60 and Cornerstone to Version 1.30
This issue with the APi has being fixed and now you can place your code straight on Cornerstone.
Please have a look at our changelog for more information.
Hope it helps

JadeModeratorHi there,
There should not be any delay but try to clear your cache just in case you are just seeing the cache version of your site although when I checked your site, Google map seems to be displaying correctly now and I can’t see a warning message in the console anymore.
