powrider686ParticipantHello,
On my site, roadsidegal.wpengine.com, I’m having some issues getting products to display properly.Say you go to the automotive gallery, http://roadsidegal.wpengine.com/galleries/automotive/, and hover over one of the first few images. The title comes up, but it’s not really the title, it’s the caption of the image, and when you add the product to your cart and view it in the cart, it seems to repeat, with the title and caption displaying, then displaying a third repeat that I can’t figure out where it is coming from.
I can’t figure out how to get the actual title to display on hover, or remove one from the description.
Can you help??
Thank you!

Rue NelModeratorHello Marcus,
Thanks for getting back to us. I am now logged in and it seems that several plugins needs to be updated. Please make sure that all of these plugins especially the addons for Envira gallery is up to date. Most of the time, out dated plugins tend to create issues in your site.
Please let us know how it goes.

powrider686ParticipantHey there,
It’s not the plugins, they have their own bugs regarding how the galleries display, so I rolled back to the previous version. It really has to do with how the products display, and that each image only shows the Caption on the gallery view, so in order to show the title you have to make the caption and the image title the same thing, which results in those both showing on the cart page.
How about this: Would it be possible to show only the image title on the woocommerce checkout page, and not the image caption or alt tag? So effectively it would fix the problem, by hiding all the fields except the image title from the product description.
Thanks for the help!

RadModeratorHi there,
Is it custom code? Because in standard Woocommerce cart, it only displays the product title. Hence, the only way for it to appear there is, it’s made it that way. Unfortunately, that second title has no selector for it to be hidden. It’s just plain text.
And when I clicked the product title on cart page, it directs me to a dead page https://roadsidegallery.com/shop/?attribute_size=16%22+x+20%22&attribute_finish=Printed+%26+Matted
If this is due to the plugin (since standard Woocommerce cart doesn’t behave like this), then it’s best to contact the plugin author.
If it’s custom code which usually done through filters, then please provide your FTP login credentials as well for checking.
Thanks!
