billium99ParticipantHello – I have been trying to get my product images to show up properly on the latest X theme with WooCommerce installed. On the Shop page, and all subsequent category pages, the images are too big and get cropped almost in half at smaller widths. The images don’t resize like they are supposed to. Any clue what is going on? Even with a force thumbnail regeneration, I’m not getting the needed sizes displayed.

RupokMemberHi there,
You have uploaded very large resolution image for the products and here original version will be used. So you can use a smaller resolution as product featured image. Let’s use the larger one as product gallery image since it will be zoomed.
Hope this makes sense.

billium99ParticipantSorry this doesn’t make sense.
I’ve enabled WooCommerce thumbnail size settings via the function you guys recommend to retrieve those settings. I’m explicitly setting sizes and using Force Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to resize these.
But even the larger product gallery image is getting cut off at narrower screen sizes. Why? Aren’t these images supposed to resize for the layout?

billium99ParticipantAlso I’ve seen larger product images that still don’t screw up the product category page layouts. Images larger than the product box in a 4-column table I’ve seen many, many times resize to fit the layout.
But it’s not doing that here.
Please advise…
Thank you

RadModeratorHi there,
That image setting is only useful when applied to the actual code/template. By default, it will use X registered image sizes. Would you mind adding products showing the issue? I like to see the specific issue regarding this. Screenshots will be helpful too.
And please provide the correct login credentials.
Thanks!
