StuartParticipantHi,
I’m using the Ethos stack, with a video set up above the masthead. So far so good.
I was having issues with the logo and the menu being visible when the site loads and I found a thread here that told me to .masthead into the container field in RevSlider settings. Which I did. Now when the site loads, only the logo shows up – not the menu below it. However, if I’m in an editing mode (like using Cornerstone) it appears correctly. Not sure if this is a bug or I’ve done something wrong. I tried this in both Chrome and Safari with the same effect.
My site is currently in maintenance mode, I will post the login details for you in a private message after this.
Many thanks

JoaoModeratorHi Stuart,
Please try deactivating your Under Construction Plugin and check your page as a logged off user, without the WP Admin Bar.
Let us know how it goes,
Joao

StuartParticipantHi, thanks for the reply.
I deactivated the Under Construction page and logged out. When I visited the site, there was a totally different “holding” page in my site’s place. I’ve attached a screen shot of how it looks on my phone (same on desktop).
Thanks

JadeModeratorHi Stuart,
Would you mind setting the user as an admin user so that we can check the Revolution Slider settings as well?
Also, have you added something else aside from the slider settings?

StuartParticipantHi,
That’s the user changed to admin now. I’m not sure what you mean about adding something else aside from slider setting… I don’t think I’ve added any extra plugins or anything like that.
Thanks

FriechModeratorHi Stuart,
Off-setting the .masthead is right configuration, it just not look right when you’re login because there is an additional height/content on the header.
If you notice the adminbar above the slider has the same height as the cutoff part of the navbar.
The users/viewers won’t have this issue though, since they don’t get that adminbar.
Hope this shed some lights.
Cheers!

StuartParticipantHi, thanks for that – makes sense!
I’m having an additional issue that I discovered when I took my site out of maintenance mode. If you see my comment above, I included a screen shot of how my site looks when it’s live… it’s not “my” site at all, but some holding text. Not sure where it’s come from or how to fix it.
Many thanks

Paul RModeratorHi Stuart,
Upon checking, I can see another plugin “Maintenance Page”
You need to deactivate that as well.
Thanks
