    Hello,

    I have problems assigning my new website to my old license of X. When I try to verify the license, it says “Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid. Details.”, which is followed by a link. However, the “Details” link doesn’t work.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! We have revised our old validation process and you no longer need to generate an API key to validate your site. Instead, you can use the purchase key to validate your site. Please review our validation guide here (https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/).

    In the meantime, make sure that you’re using the latest version of X theme and Cornerstone plugin to correctly function the validation process. You can check the version numbers here (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/).

    Hi there,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Hi There,

    Please do the following:

    Turn of all cache and security plugins:

    1) assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
    2] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.

    If that does not work please let us know and we will forward your case to our account manager.

    Hi there,

    I have validated your site. You were using very older version of Cornerstone. I have remove that and validated site and latest Cornerstone installed and validated automatically. You won’t face such issue in future I beleieve. Just keep X and Cornerstone updated always.
