Romeo_1ParticipantHi,
My website, impresso.ca, was functioning properly until I recently downloaded the latest update, X-Theme v4.6.4 and some plugins as follows:
Akismet v3.2
Cornerstone v1.3.3
Slider Revolution v5.3.0.2
Duplicate Post v3.0.3
X-Content Dock v1.0.0
X-Email Forms (MailChimp) v1.1.2WordPress version is v4.6.1. Problems I’m experiencing is that Slider Revolution slideshow at top of homepage is no longer visible. Just a black band across the top. Page navigation tabs at top of page are no longer visible. Icons have been added to Products & Services info that are not applicable to the info displayed. I currently can’t navigate beyond the homepage. I’ve had to put up a ‘Site being updated’ home page until I can resolve the issues. Please advise. May I speak with someone?
Thanks,
Romeo D

Rue NelModeratorHey Romeo,
Thanks for providing the information. I have tried editing the homepage and no problem so far. You can see it here: http://prntscr.com/d5ders
You might be experiencing PHP memory exhaustion. We recommend that you increase your memory allocated to PHP. To increase it, please edit your wp-config.php file and insert these lines:
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' ); define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );You can add it before the line
/*That's all, stop editing! Happy Blogging. */We would loved to know if this has work for you. Thank you.

Romeo_1ParticipantHello Rue,
This may be a silly question but where do I find the wp-config.php file setting so that I can edit it as you’ve suggested?
Thanks for your help,
Romeo

Romeo_1ParticipantHello Rue,
I just logged in via the Admin screen to check the site out and the home page is still acting up. I can’t see the Slider Revolution images at the top or the company logo and navigation page tabs. The unwanted icons are still coming up over the Products & Services info as well. Perhaps changing the memory setting will correct this but as in my last question, where do I go to edit this setting?
Thanks,

FriechModeratorHi Romeo,
You need to login to your server via FTP so you will need a FTP credentials.
Then look on the public_html directory, you should see the wp-config.php file there if you install the WP on the root (most common).
Let us know how it goes.
Cheers!
