    Dear support,

    I’m having serious issues when I’m trying to update X theme to the latest version from my current one 1.8.4

    All the look and feel completely change and the settings too.

    I have of course updated Visual Composer and all the other plugins but I never retrieve the same site as it was.

    Here attached you will find the screenshot of the website before and after the update.

    Can you please help me?

    Hi Chris,

    I can’t see the latest versions so I guess you reverted the update. However as you are updating from very older version; I’d suggest you to use a staging server so that you can fix the issue and proceed to live site.

    You must go through the Changelog since lots of things already updated and deprecated. Like you need to remove X Shortcode plugin as it’s already replaced by Cornerstone. Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you install latest version of X.

    Hope this makes sense.
