liftedsearchParticipantThe background video works fine for me across all browsers on my mac, but for my client who is on Windows 10, the background video is not showing. Also background video does not function on android tablet. The website is crabaughslota.com but currently shows an under construction page. Anyone else experiencing this problem? I have entered the url to my mp4 video in the “Slider Settings:Above Masthead” section on the page. Need help ASAP! The site is ready to launch, just waiting on fixing this video issue.

RadModeratorHi there,
I’m on Windows 10 and it’s working properly. As for Edge browser, it takes time to play since the browser downloads the video before it plays it (no streaming).
Thanks!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Since you have installed a caching plugin WP Super Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
I would recommend also that you please ask your client to clear the browser cache or even use Chrome’s incognito mode or IE’s private browsing and test your site again.
Please let us know how it goes.

liftedsearchParticipantI’ve asked the client to clear the cache. We’ll see if this helps resolve the issue.
Unrelated issue… For some reason whenever I edit in Cornerstone it is adding an extra [< strong >] tag in the Contact Us section. I can delete it when editing in Text mode, but whenever I make any changes in Cornerstone it comes back. I think it may be some kind of carry over bug from importing the demo content. Can you help me fix this?

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. If you use the visual mode then it might be added from the toolbar. If you think it might carried over the demo then you can rebuild the content.
Cheers!

liftedsearchParticipantThe only place I can change the “strong” tag is in text mode. It does not show in visual or even in Cornerstone. There is no way for me to “rebuild the content” outside of text mode. After I make the changes in text mode, if I then make any changes in Cornerstone, the bold tag is re-added. I have checked the settings in cornerstone at all of the possible levles (the row, section, widget, etc), but it is not there for me to change. It continues to return.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. It should not happen though and seems a bit weird case. What about adding the content within RAW Content element instead of Text Element?
Cheers!
