    We are experiencing a problem with opening any of the following widget areas so that we can add widgets to them:
    Header 1
    Header 2
    Header 3
    Header 4
    Footer 1
    Footer 2
    Footer 3
    Footer 4

    We are on WordPress 4.6.1
    XTheme 4.6.4

    We did shut off all plugins and still experienced the same issue.

    If you would like to be able to log into the backend of the site just let me know and I can provide credentials for you.

    Hi there,

    You need to enable header/footer widgets areas under Customize -> Header/Footer first, see the attachment.

    Hope it helps.
