Hi,
A photographer’s site I know that’s using Ethos stores all their images in a folder called ‘images’ in their website root folder, then a folder named for each type of photography, then finally a folder for each shoot within that type. I suspect they’re simply mirroring their own hard drive filing system – exporting a bunch of photos to their hard drive, then FTP-ing that folder up to their server:
They’re then using those images in their Ethos portfolio and blog posts. I know you can post an image by URL, but they’re posting often as many as 80 images in a post (lazy loaded), and I can’t imagine they’re inserting each one by URL one at a time.
Do you guys know of any way to insert multiple photos by URL from a different folder on your WordPress install? Any plugins you’ve seen being used for this?
I realise it’s outside your expertise on the forum but just curious if you’ve seen in being done elsewhere.

I personally wouldn´t know any plugin to reccomend you.
If you search google you will find a few solutions for this issue.
You also may consult our Facebook Group X Theme Users which counts with 9000users.
There is more chances you get some good reccomendation regarding this subject there.

No worries! I emailed them directly and they save their images to their hard drive structure, upload that structure to their server by FTP, then use a spreadsheet to automate their code to post the images. Genius! 😀
