    Hi,

    when I like to add an internal link to a post I use the “link” button in the wp editor.
    Then I use the search function to find the post I like to link to.

    In the screenshot you can see that the editor uses http://localhost/reiseberichte/ueno-zoo-tokio for the internal linking. But the original url of the post is: http://localhost/reiseberichte/asien/japan/ueno-zoo-tokio

    Both links are working, and the site under http://localhost/reiseberichte/ueno-zoo-tokio has a cannonical tag to the original post:
    <link rel="canonical" href="http://localhost/reiseberichte/asien/japan/ueno-zoo-tokio" />

    why there are 2 different urls when I give the post the permalink:
    http://localhost/reiseberichte/asien/japan/ueno-zoo-tokio

    Hi Michael,

    Did you install any plugin that might that set a different configuration for the image attachments? You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
