Will it work as an audio file in the featured image? If not, how do I get it to work in that location?

Hi there,

That’s possible, edit your post and go to Format section and choose audio. Then scroll to the top and find Screen Options and make sure that Audio Post Settings is toggled on.

Then scroll it down until you find the Audio Post Settings section, then add your code within the embed section.

Yes, you’re right. It display x’s audio post format. Regretfully, this particular customization request is outside the scope of our support as this is not related to an issue with the theme and instead has to do with your customization of it.
