RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! As you are using Masonry layout, the posts should be squarish as it is and you can’t get portrait view for the posts. You can use standard layout to get this but it won’t look good with portrait images I believe.
Cheers!

Gnomo BàgnoloParticipantAny Solution?
December 29, 2016 at 10:24 am #1308647
RupokMemberHi there,
I can’t suggest a feasible solution if you use the Masonry layout as it will break the whole purpose of Masonry. You can use the Standard Layout from Customize > Blog > Style > Standard
Cheers!

Paul RModeratorHi,
Please download your images and rotate them to the correct orientation using an image editor.
I checked your image meta data and the orientation is wrong.

RadModeratorHi there,
You should edit them with photo editing software and rotate them. WP Media will only rotate them but the same orientation data still exists. http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/digitalphotography/f/sideways-pictures.htm
Thanks!

Gnomo BàgnoloParticipantI’ve edited some images with an external image editor, but when I upload them to WP, I have the same issue,
Please could you send 1 portrait image (edited as you suggested me), so I upload it in my environment and I test the result?
Thank you

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
I did some research and a lot of people have experienced this. They suggested a 3rd party plugin be installed. Please check this out: https://wordpress.org/plugins/image-rotation-fixer/
This issue is a bug in WordPress. You can follow the trac here: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/28676

Gnomo BàgnoloParticipantHi
Thank You for your indication
The suggested plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/image-rotation-fixer/) seems doesn’t work as requested
But, following your suggestions, I’ve found another plugin that seems resolve the problem:
Thank You again
