Claus AndersenParticipantHi X-perts,
Picture no. 2 shows the portfolio list when X is activated and nr. 1 when Total theme is activated.
Latest WP, latest X and latest Cornerstone.
What am I missing here?
Best regards

ChristianModeratorHey Claus,
Your Total theme portfolio is different than X’s though they might have the same name. You can use only the Total portfolio for the Total theme and the same is true with X Portfolio.
Thanks.

Claus AndersenParticipantSo what you are saying is this: if I switch to X all my portfolio items are gone? And I have to start over?

Paul RModeratorHi,
Yes, you need to start over as these are two different theme and are not interchangeable.
Thanks

Claus AndersenParticipantThen I cant use X for my site 🙁 Not gonna redo 25-30 portfolio posts. Is there no of exporting and importing or somehow fixing this?
Enfold and Total are also two different themes, but my Portfolio posts work in both themes…
Thanks

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for the credentials. It’s because Total and Enfold uses the same slug (portfolio) for Portfolio Custom post type but X uses x-portfolio.
Unfortunately it’s not possible to use the other theme’s Portfolio within X without custom development. You can use Child Theme and define the portfolio custom post type if possible for you.
Cheers!
