pcnordhaugParticipantHi! Thanx for a fantastic theme – and also – an amazing forum! Very easy to search for answers and you give great response 🙂
Have already done some custome changes to the theme after reading tricks here.
I use the integrity theme.
I have two questions;
First one is about the portfolio page.
This is a little hard to explain. Im from the far north in norway and not that good in english;)
Have already filled the portfolio site with many posts. With the result that in the bottom there is a “1”, “2” and so on buttons. I also have quite a few sort buttons in the top.
When you press a sort-button in the top and that goes over several pages it doesn´t stay sorted. In other words when i press a sort button in the top and then hit for example the “2”-sort button in the bottom you have to sort in the top again. Is there a way to get stayed in the sorting-page you have entered.
Also… is there a way to load post as you scroll down? Not all at the same time. It takes a bit time now first time you enter. Have tried a plugin but this just made the thumbs jump around.
My second qouestion is about blog post. Is there a way to link a blog post to a portfolio post?
For example i want to make a portfolio post and then have a blog post in the front page about that and just link it directly to that portfolio post.
A soloution i have is to just make a blog post that is similar to the portfolio post – but that doesn´t look so good when you do a search (you then get two matches with the same content.
I know you ask for a link to the page for answers. But I have a “Coming-soon-page” enabled sÃ¥ that maybe doesn´n help much. My questions also are about the theme in general so it´s okay?:)

Paul RModeratorHi,
Thanks for writing in!
1. The sort feature only works on portfolio items that is currently visible on the page. If you have set your portfolio page to have pagination you need to click sort for every page.
2. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!

pcnordhaugParticipantOk with the sorting. But also, are there a way to load this page not all at the same time (just visible)? Just load as you scroll down. Tried this with a plugin but with the result that the posts just jump around.
Ok with the post-linking. I will try and find a solution with the option “link-post”. When this is choosed, try to make the whole content box linkable.
I have a child-theme set up, yes 🙂
Just two more questions i forgot to ask;
I have a dark background color. But the content boxes are white. So the text have to be dark. This is a problem for the text that displays outside the content boxes. Like result-text when you do a search or the heading if you sort by category (blog-posts f.x.). You know a line of code to make just those texts white or another color?
I also have i dark background for the header with the logo and menu. The menu text therefore needs to be white. This is a problem with the drop-down menu. The background here is also white (like the content-boxes). No problem on mobile as the drop-down here is dark like the header. But on the desktop it´s white like the content-boxes. Is there a code to set these boxes also dark?

pcnordhaugParticipantSorry.. but also – is there a way to remove the shadow or line under the sorting button in portfolio. I now have a color on these and with the dark background it doesn´t look so good. Se picture attached.

pcnordhaugParticipantI have now fixed the color for the text over content-boxes with this code;
.h-landmark span, .p-landmark-sub {
color: #f6f6f6;
}Worked nice! But not in search-results as the text that you have searched for is still dark color. See image attached. How do you also set this to the light color above?
I also want to change the text here to another language. Is there a place i can do this without doing the whole site?

Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. In regards with background color, please provide us with URL.
Thanks.

pcnordhaugParticipantThanx!
Everything is okay. Exept for this i wrote;
“I have now fixed the color for the text over content-boxes with this code;

pcnordhaugParticipantBut there is a “coming-soon”-page in front. So what do we do then?
