ChgrimParticipantHi,
I don’t have any portfolio items but for some reason it keeps getting pulled up in my google webmaster tools as missing pages. How do I get rid of these so they stop getting crawled by google?
portfolio-tag-sitemap.xml
portfolio-category-sitemap.xml
portfolio-sitemap.xmlThanks

RupokMemberHi Chris,
Do you have any categories or tags for portfolio? Are you using any sitemap or SEO plugin?
Let us know.

ChgrimParticipantHi,
I have no tag or categories for portfolio. I deleted them all. I am using Yoast SEO plugin but I have turned off categories for the yoast site map creator. When I go look at the sitemap created by yoast there are no portfolio categories at all.
Thanks

RadModeratorHi there,
Shouldn’t it the one you’re trying to achieve? No portfolio categories from sitemap generated by Yoast.
X theme and portfolio have no direct connection to Yoast, you may try contacting the plugin author too.
For the meantime, please provide your site’s URL and admin login credentials in private reply.
Thanks!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thank you for the clarifications. The X theme is just the same as the twenty sixteen theme. It doesn’t generate any sitemap xml file. This file may have came from a 3rd party plugin.
Hope this helps.
