Paul RModeratorHi,
Please try to select Image Media type instead of Gallery.
http://screencast.com/t/K7izIgzUC
If you want it to be of gallery type you need to upload images from add media.

Hope that helps.

CatDouglasParticipantWhen does the knowledge base come back into action after the Xmas break?
January 3, 2017 at 6:41 am #1314025
ChristianModeratorSorry but I do not understand your question. Please give us more details by “knowledge base come back”.
Back to the migration process, you’re not doing it correctly. The path should be the path of the new server. Please ask Pantheon for that. Also note that Pantheon is only a sample I gave and providing setup instruction for it is outside the scope of our support. If you’re not comfortable copying your site to a live server, please contact a WordPress freelancer to do it for you. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://community.theme.co/custom-development/
Thanks.

CatDouglasParticipantAh, your 23rd Dec message has appeared now, please ignore the previous post from today.
I’ve changed three Portfolio Items to be set to Image (and also the option below that is now Thumbnail, changed from Media). It hasn’t worked, unless all of them need to be set to these settings to get any of them to work?
The other odd thing is I have 26 Portfolio Items and only 13 are showing up on these pages (in text only, in one column). Please see screenshots of the way the Portfolio page displays (the one which should be displaying the grid of images to click into each Portfolio Item), attached in separate messages below.Cat
I’m using Soliloquy Sliders on each Portfolio Item by the way.

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Provided credentials don’t work anymore, please check.
Thanks.
January 4, 2017 at 3:34 am #1315454
CatDouglasParticipantWhat provided credentials? The thread shows that someone asked me to create a staging/dev site on Pantheon because I’m working locally, as the login info is irrelevant.

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
I’m referring to this post https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/portfolio-items-not-displaying-on-portfolio-page/#post-1300836.
Please provide us with staging site login credentials.
Thanks.
January 4, 2017 at 8:25 am #1315762
CatDouglasParticipantThanks for clarifying, I had issues creating a staging site and it was going to involve doing training and watching several videos to do so I tried the easier route first. I do not have a staging site, what happened is it led me to creating a brand new WP site which was nothing to do with the one I’m creating locally.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! Could you please give us access the new WP site you have created so that we can check why the portfolio page doesn’t display anything. If in case in your new site, the portfolio page displays, there could be a fatal error or something that causes the portfolio items not showing on the page.
Most of the time, a blank screen usually means there is a fatal PHP error. Can you please enable WP_DEBUG mode? You can do this by opening
wp-config.phpand adding
define( 'WP_DEBUG' , true );just above/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */For example:define('WP_DEBUG', true); /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */When you revisit the portfolio page, you should have some error output describing the issue in more detail.
Please let us know how it goes.

CatDouglasParticipantHi there,
There is no work created on the new site, I do not need to use it, it was made only when attempting to create a staging site as I couldn’t upload my actual site which is created locally using MAMP. There is no work at all on the new site, no Portfolio page to check.
On my locally-created site, the portfolio Page displays as shown in the above messages three screen shots. i.e. only text, one-column, only 13 out of 27 portfolio items displaying.

RadModeratorHi there,
Is there a way you could make your site online? Just a clone of it for checking. I can’t check what’s the issue by just checking the screenshot. Need to check it directly.
Thanks!

CatDouglasParticipantHi there,
I’m going to attempt at backing up my database and installing the Demo Content as my tutor suggests first. This is currently put to one side while I work on a paid project. I’ll update you if needed so please keep this query open.
