Hello,

First off let me say this theme is outstanding! Saved me tons of time!!!

Quick question about the portfolio item pages.

I believe my stack is icon

I am hoping to be able to get the featured image to be included in the gallery (slider) that appears on portfolio item pages.

Currently it shows up as expected on the landing page however when you enter an individual item page the featured image does not appear.

I am hoping to update the template (or functions) to include the featured graphic so that I do not have to attach the image to the page twice in hopes to get it to show up.

Hi there,

You can’t use featured image and gallery at the same time. If you wish to set featured image change ‘Media Type’ to ‘Image’ under ‘Portfolio item settings’ box. Then insert gallery in content area.

I understand the functionality of selecting media vs featured image.

I was wondering if you could direct me to where I can find the theme files to include the featured image in the gallery.

The alternative that I am hoping to avoid is having to add the image twice to each portfolio item.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing back. This kind of customization is our of our support scope. If you wish to continue yourself then I can refer you the files you need to edit with Child Theme. You can try changing on /framework/views/icon/content-portfolio.php

You might also need to amend on /framework/views/global/_portfolio.php
