Hi, sorry if this has been asked before.

I have 32 portfolio items, which means they spill over onto a second page. However, when someone clicks on a filter, that filter is only applied to the current page.

For example: I have a category called “Music Videos” with two items. Those two items are on the second page because they were two of the first portfolio items I added to the site. But when I click the category filter for “Music Videos” when I am on the first page (which everyone will do, because it’s where you land when you click on “Projects” on my site), it returns nothing. There is a “Page 1, 2” at the bottom of the empty page, and if you click on page 2, BOOM – there they are.

Another example is where a category has items that are on both page 1 and page 2. Well, if you filter page 1, you only see the items from that category that were on page 1, not the ones that are on page 2.

This isn’t good. Prospective clients looking for example work will see the empty page and assume we’ve never done work in that category before, or only see a portion of the work we’ve done. I can’t assume they’ll click on the “Page 2” to return all the items, because they most likely wont.

Is there any way to fix this? I’d even be fine with a way to make the portfolio endless, and not create multiple pages.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Please edit portfolio page and change number of “Posts Per Page” to a greater value. The value should be at least equal or greater than number of existing portfolio items.

    Hope it helps.
