tashitendrelParticipantHi guys,
I have portfolio categories widget in a sidebar as a dropdown menu, but each time I want to choose one of the categories I end up with 404 page. What could be wrong? http://wildlotusart.com/?cat=22

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Although you have set permalinks to ‘post name’, the widget displays plain permalink.
Please save permalink again and disable/clear cache on your site and check again.Hope it helps.

tashitendrelParticipantI’m sorry, either I don’t know ow to do this or it doesnt work. I use W3 Cache plugin to cache site. What else can I do? How can i save permalink again?

tashitendrelParticipantI can see now that after changing the widget setting to display categories as a list all the links work well. But they stop working after changing the option to dropdown menu.

ChristianModeratorThe issue is with your custom widget. I checked a portfolio category page and it displays fine http://wildlotusart.com/?portfolio-category=animals. Please contact the developer of your custom widget. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Thank you for your understanding.
