Tyson at RPTCParticipantHi Themeco,
I would like to use Portfolio as a Testimonial Page, and I think it will work really well. But there are two issues that I’m running into. The first is, how can I add a text excerpt underneath the image in the main page where the portfolios are displayed. Then once you select a portfolio item, how can you customize that section, such as removing the comment section completely, including the ability to write comments, and add a bit of style to the text?

Tyson at RPTCParticipantI figured out the removing the comments part, and started doing some basic html customization’s, just the background doesn’t really give me much room for change.
That in mind, still looking for a solution to add text excerpt to portfolio items seen in the Portfolio Page where all portfolios are displayed.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! It’s not really possible to add excerpt to portfolio. Portfolio page supposed to shoe the featured image. If you need to show excerpt then it’s not a good idea to use Portfolio. You can use Essential Grid or The Grid. If you still want to stick with portfolio then you need to achieve this with custom development using Child Theme. You need to modify the file /framework/views/integrity/content-portfolio.php. It would be out of our support scope sp can’t help on this unfortunately.
Thanks!
