    I am having problems! I want to expand what is written on the portfolio item when it appears on a portfolio page. I wanted to add a blurb, address and telephone number, and tried to follow directions I was given – but I can’t get it to work!
    I have edited the content-portfolio.php in child theme as directed, added 3 custom field names and custom field values, but it is not showing up in my portfolio items when they display on my restaurant page – am I writing out the custom field values incorrectly?
    I have attached images to let you see what i have done so far.

    Hey Michele,

    Please use the Advanced Custom Fields Pro plugin that now comes bundled with X and follow the template integration instruction at https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-acf-pro/

    I checked your restaurant page and it looks like the custom fields are showing up (see attachment). Have you resolved this?

    hi, yes sort of – I used the excerpt field instead and it seems to be fine.
