Can anyone tell me why the updates are not available for some of the plugins please? Also, I keep getting prompted to register the Visual Composer but it doesn’t let me register. Can anyone explain this to me please?

Thanks for writing in! Please revoke and re-validate your site with the steps below.
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation (https://s3.amazonaws.com/community-themeco/app/uploads/2016/04/17110514/Capture53.jpg).
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license.
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the purchased code again.Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for writing back. Kindly go through the Version Compatibility article and check the latest compatible version of the plugins. If you see newer version on update notification then the version just released is not yet available on automatic update from Themeco server. We’ll do some compatibility test before putting into the update server. So kindly wait for couple of days.
It’s always recommended to use the compatible version to avoid any issue.
