Laura CParticipantI love X and I’m sure I haven’t even begun to use 1/10th of the available features.
Just finished building a site that includes BuddyPress. We’re using the Ethos stack.
Everything is PERFECT.
Except on mobile.
On mobile, everything is perfect except for the comment link within BuddyPress.
I’ve troubleshooted all the ways I know how. I dumped the cache (no change), I disabled all other plugins (no change), I deleted all the custom CSS (no change).
The only time I can get the comment button to work perfectly is when I switch back to a generic theme (Twenty-Twelve, Twenty-Fifteen, etc.)
Therefore I believe my glitch is in how X serves up mobile BuddyPress. I don’t have a clue where to find the file that manages the comment link, for BuddyPress, with Ethos, as mobile – nor what to look for once I found the file.
Thank you in advance for your assistance or direction,
Laura Childs

Laura CParticipantHey Christopher!
Thank you for your reply! I ended up hacking into child themes and just moving things around until everything worked! It isn’t the best solution, but it keeps me moving forward.
I tried to close this thread, but I don’t know how. Please mark it as solved?
(I’d send you my URL, but the BuddyPress installation is behind a membership wall, so it won’t help you much.)
Have a great week,
Laura
p.s. I’ve owned X for 3 years. I keep trying it out on new sites and then tuck it back in my hard drive because it seemed so cumbersome. This time, I’m going to keep it! I’m learning to love the extras!
