Hi please can you help.

I was following the instructions posted at https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/add-email-button-to-top-bar-alongside-social-media-icons-integrity/

to put an additional icon on the top bar.

However when I refreshed screen website just showing a blank page and when I go into wpadmin I also get a blank page.

Is there a way to back out of this?

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Thanks for coming back to me.
I managed to get the default child function.php back to its default – via ftp into my site.
However… The social icons in the top bar and the footer disappeared.
I followed again the instructions in https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/add-email-button-to-top-bar-alongside-social-media-icons-integrity/
This time though I left out the part of copying the main theme function.php to the child theme function.php
This brought back a footer social links only with the original Facebook link. However the google+ logo shows in stead of the Facebook logo. Link placement is correct in customiser.
My goal is to have a Facebook social link icon and an email link icon in the top bar and footer.
