Hoang DParticipantHi All-
I’ve been looking for an answer to this and I’m sure it’s simple but I can’t find it.
I am using a portfolio page with a featured image and a large portfolio image (750x1250px) but the Pinterest share button does not show either image. (see image)
When I remove the featured image the portfolio image shows in the Pinterest share but I nee the featured image for my category page.
I have 4 portfolio pages and this is happening on each one.Page setting:
Portfolio Parent: default
Media Type: Image
Featured Content: Thumbnail
Featured Image: Yes/OnAny direction here would be great, thank you.

RahulModeratorHey There,
Thanks for writing in!
Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / passwordDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. Featured images seems showing fine for the portfolio items. But there is no way to set featured image for the category as you can’t edit the category pages. You can use Social Fallback image from Customizer > Social that would be used when there is no featured image or any images for any page/post.
Hope this makes sense.

Hoang DParticipantSorry I think you mis-read what I was asking about.
The PINTEREST share button does not work in the portfolio.
How do I get the PINTEREST share button to share? Right now it doesn’t show anything (see pic)January 24, 2017 at 4:47 pm #1343830
NicoModeratorHi There,
I was about to check deeper on your setup however the login credentials is not correct. The only problem that I found is that the URL generated in the pinterest is not correct. Check Attached
It could be that the URL for the image used is not correct. Please check the login credentials so we could check further.
Thanks.

NicoModeratorHi There,
Upon checking your setup further, I confirm that when you activate your featured image it ruins the link generated in pinterest.
Would you mind testing for plugin confict. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
You could start on plugins where it is related to image or social media.
Let us know how it goes
Thanks.
