    Hello
    I’m learning its best to have permalinks that are SEO/ user friendly.
    My X Theme is Ethos 1, which I hear is good for News/info heavy material, however I selected it more for the layout and appearance and am just going to be using it more as a blog that I will be blogging with about only once a week, and as a website for my business services that I offer.

    I noticed currently the Permalink is set to custom: http://deafboss.com/index.php/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

    Can I change it to the setting “post name”: http://deafboss.com/sample-post/
    to make it more SEO friendly? and if so will it affect my X Theme?

    What is the process so I may do this correctly? Thanks!

    Thanks for writing in! Yes “Post Name” considered as best option for SEO and it’s easy to understand and navigate as well for the users.
