Laura LParticipantHello!
Somehow I managed to confuse the permalink system; I have a page for a painting named “1971”, which can be found here:
However, the permalink I’m intending/want is http://lauraletchingerart.com/1971 (*no added “-2” after 1971). I can’t find any other pages with the name http://lauraletchingerart.com/1971, so I don’t know how to fix it. Can you please help?
Thank you,

Prasant RaiModeratorHello Laura,
Thanks for writing in!
You can also check in Thrash. If it’s not there, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks.

RupokMemberHi Laura,
Thanks for the credentials. I have checked everything and finally found that you have a custom post type named “Slideshows” by the plugin “Portfolio Slideshow Pro” where you have added a post named 1971 which is blocking the URL. This plugin is not using any custom slug for the CPT so it’s causing and the Slideshow is not accessible individually hence you see 404 error page. So let’s remove that particular slider and add it with a different naming.
Hope this makes sense.

RupokMemberHi Laura,
There is no trash folder, so it’s empty. Did you try removing the slideshows with same name? Note that it’s not related with X or any theme and we can’t really do anything except pointing the issue. You can switch to a default theme to make sure it’s not related to X.
Thanks for understanding.
