    Hi there,
    I noticed the performance of my site slowed down since X. Since my knowledge of server optimization is basic, I contacted the customer service of my hosting (siteground). That’s what they are saying:

    “I also straced the execution of your WordPress index.php to see what is slowing it down the most and from the strace results I can see that during most of the time, the theme files are being executed over and over again until all of the content on the website is loaded. This is not normal and the theme scripts should not be executed more than once, but in the strace I can see that they are being called several times. Perhaps you could try switching the theme of the website to a different one to see if it will make it any difference and build the website on it.”

    Now… I don’t want to “switch” theme.. I just bought it. Can you help me on this? what’s wrong?

    Hi there,

    I have analyzed your site and found some of your images are large and taking few seconds to load – http://prntscr.com/dujym3

    It would be great if you optimize them and upload again. I don’t see any other issue and you can follow our Performance guide to make it better. There are some free caching plugin recommendation.

    Thanks Rupok, I’ll see what I can do. I like X and I think I could get rid of visual composer too and redo my static pages with cornerstone.
