    Hi X-theme,

    I am trying to activate The Grid plugin but I’m getting the error shown in the attachment.

    ‘
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /websites/123reg/LinuxPackage99/be/th/_s/beth-shalom.org.uk/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/the-grid/includes/item-skin.class.php on line 54’

    Can you help or do I need to contact the plugin developer?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! I have seen similar issues experienced by other members. Most probably it is because of your PHP version. Please contact your hosting provider and make sure that you’re running PHP v5.6 or above to avoid such incompatibility issues.

    Hi,

    I contacted my hosting provider, 123reg, and they updated the site to run a new version of PHP.

    Spot on advice!
