    Hi,

On my blog posts, after updating to the latest version on X-Theme, I don’t see my footers any more. They are there on the normal pages of my site, but not the blog posts.

The error messsage is as follows:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/icebreak/public_html/wp-content/themes/x/framework/views/renew/_content-post-footer.php on line 13

You can see it live here:

    http://www.icebreaker-bd.com/our-blog/trust/

I have updated all the plug-ins, and WP is also up-to-date.

Can anyone help me as to why this has suddenly happened?

    Many thanks,
    Graeme

    Hi there @Graeme D,

Thanks for writing in! The patch that @limenet has directed to you will work perfectly.

We’ll have an update out shortly that will resolve this.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thanks for answering this @limenet.

I have located your file and downloaded it as a .zip.

I have also located the “/home/icebreak/public_html/wp-content/themes/x/framework/views/renew/_content-post-footer.php” after logging into my host and cPanel.

Could you be so kind and please tell me how I upload this file and replace the existing one? I have just done a few searches online and nothing seems to be jumping out to as to how to do this!

    Many thanks,
    Graeme

    Hi Graeme,

You can replace the contents of the file with the contents of the patch.

Or you can use filezilla and overwrite the existing file.

If that doesnt help please provide ftp login details in private reply.

    Thanks

Superb! Thanks folks. I managed to use Filezilla to update the file. Perfect. We’re back with footers showing in blog posts.

Thanks so much for your guidance on this.
    Graeme
