    Hi there,

    I have used parallax effect on a website for some friends. On my laptop it works perfectly, however, on both of their laptops it does not work (anymore).

    I hope you can help me solve this! It works perfectly on my laptop, so I’m not sure why it does not work on some other laptops

    Hey there,

    Please check if their laptops have touch screens. To be sure, please let them go to http://supportally.com/ and copy the Browser Details and Advanced Browser Details and send them here.

    Parallax is disabled on mobile devices and touch laptops with touch screens are treated as mobile devices. This is for performance reasons and there is no workaround for this.

    ah it is indeed a touch screen. Then I’ll just have to give them the bad news 😉 Last week it still worked on their screens though. Oh well, bad luck 😉
