logogloParticipantHi there, so I have only just realized this, when going through the source code, I noticed any background image used in a parallax setting, does not have an alt= text, even though it has been set in the media gallery. Any way of adding this? http://www.logoglo.com/
Same with “the grid” plugin, their image alt is displayed as “data-tolb-alt=” any way to change this to the standard alt=?
Im asking for SEO purposes, at the moment, my page has images with missing alt tags.
Thanks.

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! But you can not add an alt text attribute to a background because that is a CSS property.
Please clarify. Cheers!

logogloParticipantOK, this seams a little odd for SEO purposes, in this case google does not see that an image background, is an image, google likes images on a page, this could hurt SEO, no way of adding it?

Nabeel AModeratorHi again,
You can add an image on a page if you need to add
alttext. Background image doesn’t support this property.Hope this helps!
