After upgrade the Wp 4.6.1 and Visual composer 4.12, my pages are gone (Oops You blew up the internet)…
If I try to edit the pages using the backeditor I can see the content from my website in the , but when I try to use the front end, it does not load the content (links, texts, etc).
The home page its working, but not the other pages.

Hello There,

Thank you for providing the information. It appears that you are still using X shortcodes. Please deactivate and delete X Shortcodes plugin. Please take note that X shortcodes and its functionality has been consolidated into Cornerstone which should be installed automatically when activating X. I went ahead and fixed this issue for you. I would advise that you clear your browser’s cache and test your site again.

Thanks for getting back to us. It seems that there is a 404 page in all your other pages. This could be a result of the mod_rewrite module not being activated/installed. The solution is to activate mod_rewrite for the Apache web-server. Check the apache\conf\httpd.conf file for the line # LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so and delete the # in front of the line. Then stop Apache and start it again. Note: you may have to ask your host to activate mod_rewrite.

Thanks for updating in! After reviewing the information provided above, I would try checking with your hosting provider on this particular issue as it sounds like something related to your setup is causing this. Typically, this is due server configuration problems (i.e. underpowered, traceroute issues, packet loss, permissions errors, et cetera). Additionally, your host will be able to diagnose things much better due to the fact that they have a more complete view of your account and can work behind the scenes with you. If the problem you are experiencing persists after working with your host, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. Any relevant information that you can share with us from your host is also greatly appreciated as it will help us to better ascertain the source of the problem.

By the way, Cornerstone will always be automatically gets installed with the latest version of X. All you have to do is to deactivate X shortcode plugin (or even delete it) and then activate Cornerstone plugin.

One more thing, X 4.6.2 is now available in automatic updates! This release contains fixes for some issues so be sure to check out the changelog. Please do update to the latest version. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
