amaritradingParticipantHi team,
I thought that X was already optimized for SEO, but my website http://www.amaritrading.de is hardly listed on search engines. If anything, the main URL will be listed if I type in the company name (Amari Trading). Other pages, such as the product pages, won’t show up at all.
Where in X can I set up keywords etc so that the SE will find my pages? What else can I do within X?
What else can I do outside X?Thank you

Nabeel AModeratorHi Amari,
Thanks for writing in. When we say that X is built with SEO in mind, we mean that we are doing everything developmentally on the theme’s end to ensure that good practices are being used. This includes basic helpful titles in your <title> tag, main content always displaying before your sidebar, usage of semantic HTML5 elements, implementation of WAI-ARIA roles for users with disabilities, et cetera. If you want to adjust individual page titles or things of this nature, you can definitely use one of the many great plugins available like Yoast to help you with this.
Thanks!

amaritradingParticipantIf I understand correctly, there is nowhere in X to add keywords etc?
Also, the forum is packed with users discussing how Yoast does not play well with esp Cornerstone…Since I am a beginner, won’t take any risk with Cornerstone.
Any suggestions?

ChristianModeratorHey there,
You can disable Cornerstone in all or Allowed Post Types in WP Admin > Cornerstone > Settings (see attachment).
Thanks.

amaritradingParticipantHI there, I love Cornerstone and will continue to use it. I would not want to use Yoast and risk mess up with Cornerstone.
Is there anywhere I can put in keywords within WP & X on each page?
Thank you.

RadModeratorHi there,
You may try other SEO plugins. We will investigate the issue between Yoast and cornerstone. But, I do have Yoast and cornerstone has no problem.
Thanks!

amaritradingParticipantMaybe this question is really weird, but Is there anywhere I can put in keywords on each page as I am setting up the page in X?

RupokMemberHi there.
Thanks for writing back. Yes that could be done with SEO plugin only. You can try other plugin like this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/
We can’t guarantee about the compatibility of any third party plugin but you can give it a shot.
Thanks!
