paleopolly1ParticipantWebsite: sirencomms.com/
Page: sirencomms.com/contact
Issue: White page displaying.Tested on chrome, firefox, safari, caching cleared.
Here’s an in depth account of what happened.
1. There was a typo on the contact page.
2. The skeleton mode error in cornerstone came up. (attached.)
3. I checked to see if cornerstone was working on other pages. It loaded fine. I didn’t modify any other pages across the site.
4. I went back into the contact page, and modified the typo using cornerstone skeleton mode.
5. I previewed the contact page and it went blank.I have deleted all speed/ caching plugins- to ensure the site isn’t caching.
I wonder if there is an issue in Cornerstones/ the page.
I am reticent to create a new page and add to the menu, as when I modified the last page, it went white.June 18, 2016 at 1:37 pm #1048597
Nabeel AModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! A white screen usually means there is a fatal PHP error. Can you please enable WP_DEBUG mode? You can do this by opening
wp-config.phpand adding
define( 'WP_DEBUG' , true );just above/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */For example:define('WP_DEBUG', true); /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */When you revisit the page with the white screen, you should have some error output describing the issue in more detail.
Let us know how this goes!

paleopolly1ParticipantHi there,
Following on from this issue. http://www.sirencomms.com/contact
The above issue was temporarily fixed. We did not modify the site in the past week.Today we modified the contact page in Cornerstone – to give a new “out of hours contact.”
ISSUE 1
Content saved in cornerstones, is not displaying on the page. Cleared caching, and tested on different browsers.
a. See screenshot content in cornerstones, displaying out of hours contact “Stacey.”
b. On live page, not updating and still showing “Kate.”ISSUE 2
When entering cornerstones to try capture the screenshot, cornerstones was just spinning and spinning. This has happened a couple of times.June 24, 2016 at 2:42 pm #1058458
JoaoModeratorHi There,
Is that happenning in one specific page? If yes is very likely you have an HTML syntax error on your page like a unclosed
<p> or <em>If you are able to use cornerstone in your page please review your code.If that is not the case and you are experience the problem on the whole site, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site

– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks but the WordPress username is invalid.
I checked and it’s correctly displaying Stacey. It could be your browser cache.
Thanks!

paleopolly1ParticipantHi there,
I’ve just gone to the wordpress login page, and its giving me a 404 error. This is definitely the login page which we created, I haven’t given you the wrong one, and have cleared caching many times, on a range of different browsers.
Any ideas what could be going on?
It now appears to be displaying Stacey- I want to try modifying a page, to see if the problem is fixed- but the login page has now disappeared.
I check the memory of the site we are at 256mb and using only 26%
Thanks

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. I am not sure what you are using to change login URL but it’s not working. However default login URL is effective and I am using this. Unfortunately I can’t login with your given credentials as well. Definitely something wring and kindly double check the credentials again.
Cheers!
