    Hello there.

    Today, I went to my web page and the background video didn’t load. I used Microsoft Edge and Chrome and Safari. I double checked the link (which is right) and even went to youtube to check too, and it was there, working. But not on my page.
    I haven’t done anything to the site. It just stopped working.

    Can you help?

    Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)

    You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

    If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

    Hi again. Today I did a full upgrade on everything, including wordpress itself. Everything went smooth, besides slider revolution that gave me an error, but upgraded anyway (strange).

    but my problem still persists. No video is playing at the backgroung, only a black screen is showing and then the slide that plays on “top” of it…

    Please, help.

    Well, it used to work on youtube. Store it on my host server would not be the most efficient way…
    Why the change?

    It can be hosted anywhere but you need to put the direct url to your videop.

    eg. http://techslides.com/demos/sample-videos/small.mp4

    Youtube does not provide direct link. Vimeo with PRO subscription does.
