    Hey guys,

I’ve read and understand the “how to create a one page navigation” site. I see listed in that article that you have to use a fixed top nav bar with that option. I read in another post, however, that it would be possible to have a side navigation bar–so which is it? I’ve tried it and it does change the page to be an automatic fixed top bar, but if there’s a way to have the Icon-7 layout but with the one page scrolling navigation option, that would be perfect.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for posting in.

One page navigation is only applicable for fixed top bar. It can’t be applied on fixed sidebar for the reason that sections are stacked vertically, hence, the position of navbar should match to section’s position as you scroll. And width fixed sidebar, it will cover the entire height which is against scroll top position.

    Thanks!
