AnnParticipantHey there,
I have added “on-page links” to my main top navigation for this site http://www.focusmarketingpartners.com/. I have also added the contact page – which is on a different page – to the same menu. For the on-page links, I added: http://www.focusmarketingpartners.com/#our-team as a custom link under menus. Now, since 3 out of 4 links in my main navigation are on the same page – they all appear as “highlighted”. Is there a workaround for this? I know that if I add the link as #our-team only, it’ll not appear as highlighted, but if I do – the link structure won’t work from the contact page since it’s on a different page.
This may not make sense at all, but feel free to look at the site. It is under construction now but will send login credentials in a private reply.
Thanks!!
Ann

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for posting in.
You need two sets of menu, one menu dedicated for one-page which are composed of relative URL such as #our-team instead of http://www.focusmarketingpartners.com/#our-team. And another menu dedicated as primary menu where links are composed of absolute URL such as http://www.focusmarketingpartners.com/#our-team instead of #our-team.
One page menu should be set ONLY on your homepage, which you can do by editing your home page and set the menu through Page Settings section. Then the primary menu is of course the one set on Admin > Appearance > Menus.
Cheers!
